Description

This is a level 2 adventure designed for a party of 4. It should take approximately 2-4 hours to play. Who Stole Princess? is a mystery rescue adventure that has the party figuring out who stole a prized alligator from a town’s noble. It features nature, magic, and investigation.

Blake Filmore is a hunter that lives for the thrill of the kill. A wily, angry man with a penchant for attracting others like him, for many years Blake and his gang coexisted with the local band of druids. Counter to everything Blake loves, the druids live to preserve animal life, to balance the natural order of things. That coexistence has come to an end, with the druids spoiling Blake’s multi-day pursual of a legendary white hart.

Knowing he would be persecuted for dealing with the druids how he wants to, Bake hatches a plan to frame them, forcing them to flee or be arrested, either way fixing his problem. With his trusted gang Blake breaks Lord Alinor Fairfeather’s manor and steals his prized albino alligator, Princess. Instructed to be as animalistic as possible, the gang goes way over the top, murdering a butler and the one guard on duty, and scrawling nearly indecipherable messages about freeing the animals on the walls. Not only that, but they stole a slew of expensive jewellery, and burned the orchard out back as they fled before the militia could get wind and discover them.

Unbeknownst to the hunters, the maid Riago Benth was hiding beneath the bed in the master bedroom. She didn’t get a conclusive look at any of their faces, but she knows based on their language and footwear that it wasn’t the druids that committed these crimes. However, without knowing who could have orchestrated it she’s terrified of coming forward for fear of also being killed in order to be kept silent.
